Visit Colorado: Rally influencers Trip
To highlight the unique summer experiences and attractions in Colorado, we conceived a strategic public relations project.
We focused on sustainability and social touristic responsibility to create aspirational and engaging content that resonated with a wide audience, leveraging the organic reach of influential content creators across various social media platforms.
Main objective: achieve an immediate impact by inspiring countless individuals to explore the beauty that Colorado offers during the summer season. The project was carried out in five stages:
Event in Mexico City with Media. The Colorado Tourism Office held an event in Mexico City attended by key players such as tour operators, airlines, media, CTO tourism authorities, and 5 partners (Aspen, Denver, Durango, Snowmass, and Telluride) to introduce this project and the participating influencers.
Influencer Rally Trip. Seven renowned influencers/content creators were invited to Colorado to live unique experiences. Each traveled simultaneously to different destinations within the State of Colorado. They shared their experiences on social media platforms with a focus on sustainability and social responsibility.
Coverage in a Leading Communication Medium. An exclusive coverage of the influencers’ travel experiences was negotiated with Estilo DF, a well-known lifestyle magazine in Mexico.
Partnership with Wemo. As a result of the partnership with Wemo (a telecommunications service), they posted original content on social media continuously during the days of the trip and also reposted content from the influencers.
Podcast on Spotify. Roger González dedicated a special program to talk about experiences in Colorado. The 7 influencers participated in the conversation, and it aired for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
