Successful winter commercial mission of visit colorado
Date: April 2024
Officials from the Colorado Tourism Office and representatives of its main tourist destinations such as Denver, Telluride, and Durango conducted their Commercial and Promotion Mission in Mexico City during the exciting baseball game held at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helú between the Colorado Rockies and the Houston Astros, to showcase their sports, gastronomic, and tourist offerings for the upcoming summer season.
During these days, the collaboration between Colorado and Houston, along with the United States Chamber of Commerce and MLB, stood out. They offered a reception at Ambassador Ken Salazar’s Residence, where former Mexican baseball players from the Rockies, Vinny Castilla and Jorge de la Rosa, were present, along with the mascot Dinger (a cheerful purple Triceratops), among other personalities. During the evening, Mexican chef Dana Rodríguez from Denver delighted guests with her creations, and urban artist Demencia created an extraordinary mural showcasing Denver’s tourist offerings.
